It is an autonomous body charged with the responsibility to regulate the formation and management of companies in Nigeria.

PROCEDURES TO COMPLETE YOUR BUSINESS REGISTRATION APPLICATION IN A STATE CAC OFFICE
- Having Located the CAC Office in Your Location
- Go Along with a Mean of Identification as the Director / Representative of the Company to regsiter. Means of ID can be your National ID Card, Nigeria Passport, Voters Card and All National Proof of Ientification
- Prepare a Passport Photograph (About 3 to 5 peices)
- Reserve A Business Name to Register NOTE: There are Specific Amount to Register a Business Name in Nigeria Which are as Follows:
- Registration of a private company with an authorized share capital of N1m or less, costs N10,000
- Registration of a private company with a share capital of more than N1m and up to N500m costs N5,000 for every 1m shares of the company.
- Private company registration above N500m authorized share capital costs N7,500 for every 1m shares of the company.
- Public company registration for the first 1m share capital or fewer costs N20,000
- Registration of company not having a share capital costs N20,000
3. Obtain Your Form from the Business Name Regsitaration Department
4. Fill Your Form and Submit to the Representative in charge to search for Business Name form the CAC Business name Database. NOTE: if the Name you Requested has been Taken, You have to Decide another Business Name
5. Good Luck if your Business Name is Available; Pay the Business regsitration Fee and Wait for like 1 Week and Few Days For your Business Certificate to Be Ready
NOTE: : Individual/Proprietors can register their business without the services of the legal practitioner, chartered Accountant or Chartered Secretary.

- Complete pre-registration form – CAC-BNo1 (Online using Company Registration Portal)
- Pay filing fee Check the Fees for our Services here
- Steps 1-3 can be completed on the COMPANY REGISTRATION PORTAL (CRP)
- Prepare the signed scan copy of your pre-registration documents for upload as follows:
- Application form
- Filing fee receipt
- Means of identification for the proprietor (s)
